How do 'Set & Forget' Road Charges work

With Bonnet, you can set and forget Road User Charges (RUCs). When you sign up, you can choose to purchase licenses in increments of 1,000 km, 5,000 km, or 10,000 km. Bonnet will then automatically purchase and update your RUCs as needed.

There are two ways to keep this running smoothly:

1. Manual updates – You (or your drivers) update the odometer in the Bonnet app every fortnight.

2. Automatic updates – Install our GPS device in your vehicle. This sends odometer data directly to Bonnet, so RUCs are purchased automatically without driver input.
