One of our favorite and most loved features is our RUC calculator.
If you are using a BONNET for a diesel vehicle or electric one, you will need to stay on top of your RUCs!
How to view your latest NZTA RUC cover:
1) Enter your number plate, and Bonnet will show you your RUC cover start and RUC cover extracted from the NZTA and calculate it against your odometer reading, like this:
2) If you enter your odometer reading via the 'vehicle details' area below, BONNET will then calculate whether you are under or over your RUC license cover.
*Note that you can update the odometer on the app, and it will also update your BONNET desktop profile. If the vehicle is linked to another profile via our 'Driver' linking feature, it will also update on their profile instantly.
How does the RUC (traffic light) circle green, orange, or red status work?
Green - You've got over 1,000KM - 500km left on your license.
Orange - You've got between 499KM TO 0KM left on your license.
Red - You've gone over on your license and need more RUCs!
