How does the colour status work?
If you are within 500k of hitting your RUC license cover, it will display in red. If you are between 501-1000k, it will show orange, and if you are over 1,000k, it will display in normal colouring.
How can i pull my latest RUC cover from the NZTA?
1. Select the vehicle for which you want to retrieve the latest RUC cover.
2. Click on the RUC tab, then above the RUC circle, click the refresh icon, as shown here:
You will be prompted to choose whether to update just this vehicle or update all your vehicles. If you choose 'Just this one,' the WOF, REGO, and RUC will update only on this vehicle. If you choose 'All Please!,' all your vehicles' WOF, REGO, and RUCs will update.
Use caution when updating all your vehicles, as you only have limited credit bank to pull this information!
