What is a standard vehicle and how is it different form a premium vehicle?

What's the difference between standard and premium vehicles, you ask? Great question!

Back in March 2023, we launched as a free app for you to stay on top of your WOF/COF, REGO, and RUCs. Fast forward, we've now launched the desktop version and released Bonnet 'Premium'.

However, it's important to us that we keep Bonnet free for the general public, which is why we have given the first two vehicles on all profiles the 'premium' status for free. However, if you add a third vehicle, you've got to decide between adding it as a premium vehicle for $4 per vehicle per month or adding it as a standard vehicle for free.

Now, what's the difference between standard vs. premium?

Standard Vehicle - This is your free DIY option. You'll punch in all the details. You're the captain of the ship for WOF/COF, REGO, and RUC updates. However, you can pay on-the-go for NZTA updates, but you'll be paying a premium.

Premium Vehicle - This one's linked up to the NZTA. Type in the number plate, and we'll pull all the details – dates, RUCs, you name it. Plus, you get date and RUC updates on demand straight from the NZTA. It's $4 per vehicle per month after the first two vehicles (which are free for everyone).
